Forbidden is a one-hour scripted drama series (in development) that follows the lives of Asian performers in San Francisco’s Chinatown during the 1930’s and 40’s. Each episode will contain compelling musical performances, colorful characters, and real-life-inspired stories that examine a pivotal period in American history, celebrating the people and artistry that thrived in a time of peril.
